Here is another way to add a Mazda CX-30/CX-5/M6/M8 etc 6A smart key with Xhorse tools without connecting to car.

How to copy Mazda 6A smart key with Xhorse key tool (Key tool max, key tool max pro, key tool plus) and Xhorse universal remote key.?

This requires an original or working key. So add key only.

First,  generate the right key with the ID6A.

Go to Vehicle Remote- Mazda.

Generate ID6A remote using xhorse smart remote.

 

 

 

 

 

Then clone remote using xhorse xm38.

Go to Special Function-> Copy Proximity Remote->Mazda 6A smart key clone

Follow prompts to collect original key data and write new key.

 

Today I’m going to show how to unlock 2020+ Nissan Ultima or Maxima smart key with Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max/ Key Tool Max PRO. When a Nissan OEM smart key is used on a vehicle, you’re not able to reuse it on a different car. Its circuit board will lock up. But with the Key Tool Max, you can renew or unlock the key. Now let’s get start.

 

As we can see, the circuit board is Locked now.

 

 

Special function >> Remote Renew >> Nissan >> AES Smartkey – A232800800 5BTN 433MHz

Scroll down the screen, we can check the connection diagram.

Hook up circuit board &VVDI Key Tool Max by soldering.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After successfully connected, click “Unlock”.

Remote renew is in process…

Refresh successfully.

 

Go back to read the key again.

Key status is Unlock now.

Problem:

Xhorse VVDI key tool max cannot copy the new key car file. When generating emergency key with xm38 via EEPROM. it said failed to write data. Any solution?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Solution:

You cannot directly generate emergency key via eeprom. Need to use XM38 smart key to generate the corresponding type of smart card. Then generate AKL emergency key via eeprom.

Generate emergency key function only supports 2110 plat number smart cards for all keys lost.
Read the smart box data through OBD.

Today we’re going to use the Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max to clone a garage remote control. This garage remote to be cloned is brought from the client, which has 4 buttons. So next we’ll use a new Xhorse Masker Garage Remote to finish the cloning. I’ve separated its circuit board and battery on the table.

 

 

 

Click “Remote Clone” to check frequency, it shows 433.80Mhz.

HCS/Fixed Code Clone >> Garage key >> Start clone

Follow the prompts to press the original remote buttons in turn.

Once completed, it will show with confirm screen.

 

Connect Xhorse Garage Remote to Key Tool Max via cable.

Press “Clone”.

It will start cloning automatically…

Remote clone success.

 

 

 

 

 

Put a battery into the new garage remote to detect frequency.

As you can see, it’s same as the original one 433.80Mhz.

Let’s take out near the garage door, it can work and open the door.

Problem:

Xhorse vvdi key tool max failed failed to clone 4D70 from a Kia Rio 2023, Calculate failed, error code 10102 any solution?

 

 

 

 

 

Solution:

If it is an older Kia/Hyundai, it might be network issue.

Need must strong network connection for all cloning tool for 70-80bit.

But if it is 2020 onwards models, xhorse vvdi cannot clone 4D70 on Hyundai and Kia from around 2020 even its written that cloneable.

You need to get pin number from 3rd party as 99% that programmer won’t be able to read pin. Buy pin code and add key by OBD.

How-to: add remote key to Range Rover sport Discovery 3 year 2003-2009 with xhorse vvdi mini obd tool+ vvdi key tool max. When you add key remote control will be programmed together.

 

 

 

Go to Immo programming-> Landrover->Discovery 3->Key Programming->Start-> Program keys

 

 

 

 

Insert a valid key into the ignition switch and turn the ignition off

 

Insert the next key to be programmed into the ignition switch and turn ignition off

 

 

All keys are programmed successfully.

 

 

 

 

Done.

Here is showing how to unlock or renew a BMW F series HUF5662 smart key with Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max. Certainly you can use the new VVDI Key Tool Max PRO instead. Simple operation, minutes to do.

 

This is the BMW locked key, it’s a transponder 49 PCF7953P chip.

Operation

Take off the PCB.

Go ahead on Key Tool Max programmer:

Special function >> Remote renew >> BMW >> HUF5662 F Series 315MHz Huf

Here we can zoom in to check the connection diagram.

Solder the wires to PCB, then connect renew cable to Key Tool Max.

After completing soldering, press “Unlock”.

Unlock success.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Desolder the wires from PCB to read the transponder again.

As we can see, it’s unlocked now.

BMW key renew has been successfully done.
