BMW F30 95128 eeprom Data Lost Solved by VVDI

Question:
BMW f30 after desoldering 95128 eeprom all data lost {maybe overheated }
in new eprom I wrote data from another FEM but car now starts only from emergency coil { remote did not works}
I tried to write many dumps from another fem . update FEM with ISTA , but remote still not works
is there any possibility to restore data ?
what if I add new key ? remote will works on new key ?
OR I NEED TO BUY NEW FEM ?
Chief engineer replied:
  1. New fem or used fem with keys and adapt. Ori eeprom and keyless wont restore
  1. Program new key for this FEM then the car start it should start by keyless, or use the same FEM renew it and adapt it by AVDI
Final Solution:
SOLUTION for “professional” DRUGOWAZ
NO NEED TO BUY ANY NEW FEM !!!!!!!!!
find any 95128 dump from forum make all programming fem with Xhorse vvdi2. 
restore coding
now in car key must start only from emergency coil
next
at first read isn by vvdi from working key
erase key with vvdi
disassemble key
renew key by vvdi key tool or vvdi prog 
program “old” -new key with vvdi2
AND ALL !!!!
maybe all that can do with BMW explorer or autohex or anything else
Any other solutions?
I have done many FEM replacements from used modules, DME/DDE CAS ect ect. And to be honest on a scale of complexity this is a very straight forward job just need the right tools. For some it will make no sense to invest in these tools and so a new FEM will suit them fine. Even professionals buy and fit new parts!

VVDI Mini Key Tool and Key Tool User Feedback

The author collected four users’ experience using Mini Key tool and Key tool, and share with you the unknown differences between the two products.
  1. The old VVDI Key Tool is a canceled product already.
  1. VVDI MINI Key tool or VVDI key tool?
Depend on what you want to do
VVDI MINI Key tool has one free copy per day on ID48 96bit but doesn’t have remote unlock functions.
For chip copy and chip generation is better to buy VVDI MINI Key tool and Handy Baby and KD X2 and Tango.
if you want to work professionally you can’t work only with one of them.
  1. Question: Didn’t someone mention here that it is possible to combine the old KeyTool with the new KeyTool Mini (which has activated 1 year license) and this way activate ID48 96-bit cloning on the old KeyTool too?
    Does it also obtain Mini’s ability to have one free token each day when it’s combined this way? Thus sharing a token between both tools…
Answer: I got my mini keytool pre-activated with the ID48 clone function from the factory and it is strictly one token per day, not transferable.

Dear Xhorse customers: As many customer requirement about the vvdi keytool version , Xhorse company decide to transfer all NA version to GL version in this week , like this all customer can generate the Prox key, but if any customer still want keep his version in NA , please go to the Xhorse app ‘online service’ to find Xhorse after sales people for talk about that.
vvdi mini key tool unable to read some chips and smart keys
regular key tool reads fine………..
they discontinued the good one for a weaker product
mini key tool wouldn’t even detect a lexus gs350 smart key today…..
grabbed the regular key tool and read it fine and cloned it no problem onto lkp02 for spare dummy key
mini reads and clones most stuff just fine
but it doesn’t even see some others
I even took the smart key board out of the case to try to get it closer to the coil in mini key tool and still wouldn’t even detect it

Solved! VVDI Key Tool V3.2.8 Get Upgrade files failed

Offer solution to VVDI Key Tool V3.2.8 “Get Upgrade files failed” Solution.
Tried three different computers. No firewall and no antivirus. Still keep getting error.

That is the problem about the version , please use the xhorse app ‘online service’ for contact the people, and show your serial number of this , they can help you.
Finally update well , no problem.
Contacted xhorse via skype. They logged onto my computer via teamviewer. Noticed everything was good on my end. He did something on his server. Update now went through. Thanks Xhorse.
VVDI Key Tool stopped producing because VVDI MINI Key tool replaces it, but the tech support never stop, thumb up!!!

Remote & Transponder programming by VVDI Key Tool or Mini Key Tool

Topic: Give advice on the best tool for Remote & Transponder programming VVDI Key Tool or VVDI Mini Key Tool.

looking for most Asian Japanese Car remote key and transponder.

 

Give advice:

all depends on what you want to do :

VVDI key tool needs activation of id48 copy separately and costs extra but vvdi mini key tool comes with id48 copy activated
  BUT it doesn’t have all the other functions like remote renew and program etc like normal keytool does .

 

Mini key tool is cheaper option if you mainly want to clone id48 transponder Audi vw seat etc if you want more functions then normal keytool is better.

 

For most Asian Japanese Car remote key and transponder, VVDI Keytool is a best tool; mini key tool doesn’t do remote, but normal keytool can do renew program etc but not all models are supported yet.

VVDI super chip and TK5561 Which is better?

Question: It’s a pity if VVDI key tool can’t write on TK5561. They are still available here and there…
Fact:
1) TK5561 cost $30 for 1.
VVDI super chip $26.99 for 10.
Not a huge problem if it doesn’t write to TK5561.
if you have some TK5561 already in stock waiting for some clients then it is a problem because instead of Keytool you have to use other tools to write them.
Well of course you probably will have those tools already in this case but still would be good if Keytool was able to support the original chips which are still available.

How to Share License between VVDI2 and Key Tool in new Xhorse App?

In previous post, we have discussed how to share ID48 96 Bit copy between VVDI2 and VVDI Key Toolin old VVDI Key Tool App. How about the new Xhorse App?
Here’s the tips:
1). Customer need to log in the APP and combine VVDI2 and VVDI key tool (check how to combine devices?).
in that account what customer use to login
3).  Enter the account to share the authorization of ID48 copy from vvdi 2 to vvdi keytool , as
below
Go to Account->Customer Self-Service

VVDI KEY TOOL failed to calculate online 4d70 solution

Post starts with VVDI KEY TOOL issues and followed with solution, and finally solved.
I’m having issues here.
I could not calculate on line 4d70 on line I tried and tried and tried. So I deleted the app and reinstalled it and cannot remember my username for the life of me. I have tried everything possible. So with the link above complaints I’m having issues again. I can’t send an email because I’m getting the below wrong 🙁
software version must be like “1.2.3”
Vin code must have 17 alphanumeric characters exclude I, O and Q

Solution:  
I use both 1.4.5 and 1.4.1
You account is the telephone number, then you press SEND and password/code. is sent to you mobile, so you should use this received password to logon as well. If you don’t have account try send email to support

Used with VVDI2 v6.5.0 or newer version, VVDI KEY TOOL, VVDI MINI KEY TOOL.
How-to’s of VVDI Super Chip + VVDI2 copy Toyota 8A chip:

Put the original key into the coil of Handy Baby 2, it displays Toyota 8A chip.

Put the original key into the coil of VVDI2;
Put the new remote key (with Xhorse VVDI Super Chip ) into the coil of Handy Baby 2, it displays 8E chip.

Take out the VVDI Super Chip 8E chip.
Connect VVDI2 (with the original key in the coil) to the computer, starts to copy.

Chip type: Tiris DST AES (8A).
Configuration parameter: Toyota H chip (128bit) – Corolla

1). Put the original key into the coil of VVDI2 to read out the key data.
2). Take out the original key from the coil of VVDI2 key programmer.

Writing into the data, it takes about 15 seconds.

4) Online password calculation ( It will deduct 200 bonus points per time for Toyota H chip generation)… Succeed.
5). Writing the data, please wait…
Copy successfully.

Copy job is done.
