Program Seat Leon MQB Smart Remote Key using VVDI2

A Spanish VVDI2 VAG user has successfully programmed a remote smart key on a Seat LEON MQB system. Here’s some operation steps provided.

At this moment, VVDI2 MQB key is not available yet, so he used 5G0959752BC from ali (Works for all the cars, VW Polo need to use 5G0959752BB.)

Open VVDI2 VAG software

Select Key Learn->MQB platform instrument immobilizer->Instrument with NEC35xx (Continental/VDO)

Click on Diag to load vehicle information

Read EEPROM/FLASH data and save

Turn ignition on with the original key

Follow these steps to program key:

1. The instrument box is off while you are reading these instructions. You need to reset instrument after completing the process
2.Read EEPROM and save
3. Read immo data and save them.
4. Dedicate key to the vehicle (you can go to step 7 if you have a working key and also do not want to add keys)
5. Reset instrument box
6. Add key. use the immo data to program the new key
7. Finish process

Reset “instrument box” to activate the box after finishing the process

Make Dealer Key

Select brand: Seat
in this case we will use the second option

Attention: If you have the dedicated key in a normal way it will not support coding ONLINE or changes in the immobilizer of the following units:

01-Engine

02-Gearbox

17-Instruments

9-CAN Gateway

28-Electrical Steering Column Lock
We recommend selecting the OEM option, which has the same ID as the original keys, will support the
ONLINE operations.

Are you sure to make a normal Seat key?
If you are sure you have selected the correct brand press “YES” to continue, if you do not press “NO”

Place the new key into the VVDI2 antenna and press OK

Make key success. Please program the new key to the vehicle.

Use “Reset instrument” to reset the box after all operations

Attention: You must make a backup of the eeprom before programming keys.

If you have a security copy you can continue, if you have not copied before immo data, press NO

Select second option to learn key. login with security code from car. Put the key into ignition switch on accord flowing tips. You must prepare all the working key. If the key not learned, it can not start the engine after learned.

Inter leaning key number: 2

2 keys should all be learned

Key learn success.

Test the remote control and start vehicle with the new key.

VVDI2 Change Seat Leon III MQB mileage

New test feedback: done Seat Leon 3 / Golf 7 MQB mileage correction with Xhorse VVDI2 VAG 5.2.1 success.

Open VVDI2 software

Select Seat->Key Learn->Immobilizer of instrument platform MQB-> instrument with NEC+24C64 MQB key

Click read data, auto detect vehicle type etc

Click on Read KM

Current mileage: 500KM

check odometer on instrument, it is the same

Enter the mileage you desired:118090KM

Click on Write KM

Accept VVDI2 warning messages

The dashboard indicators go off during the procedure, it is normal.

Success.

VVDI2 VAG Program VW 4th ID48 All Keys Lost

Guide to program VAG 4th generation immobilizer Magneti Marelli engine NEC+35XX all keys lost with Xhorse VVDI2 VAG key programmer.

Tools used:

VVDI2 VAG

VVDI Prog programmer

VVDI2 Copy 48 Transponder Authorization (English version is not yet available)

VVDI2 data collector

Xhorse ID48 Chip (OEM key)

Guide:

Step 1: Read 95320 eeprom data

Disassemble ECU

Read CPU IC 95320 eeprom data with VVDI Prog and save data

Step 2: Calculate CS and PIN

Open VVDI2 VAG software->Special Function-> EEPROM Dump Tool->Benzina MM7GV (Polo, Skoda) NEC35XX Dump 95320->Upload data

Calculate CS and PIN

Take a screenshot or write down CS and PIN

Step 3: Program Dealer Key

Re-install ECU back to vehicle

Connect VVDI2 key programmer with vehicle

Select Key Learn->4th Immobilizer->Copy ID48 transponder

Select 2nd option: having dump CS and PIN

Manually enter CS and Pin calculated from Step 2

Select Collect data

Must connect laptop with internet to calculate key data

Then save data

Data generated can be used to copy key, generate key, generate dealer key and learn key.

Here all keys have lost, so press NO to continue

Put OEM key (ID48 chip) into VVDI2’s coil and click on YES

Generated dealer key completed and locked

Program key success. Try to start car with the new key.

Xhorse VVDI2 Program Passat 2014 NEC+ 24C64 all keys lost

Here’s the guide to program smart key for VW Passat 2012 year when all keys are lost by using Xhorse VVDI2 VAG key programmer.

Step 1:

Read key tooth with Lishi HU66 2-in-1 pick/decoder and cut a spare key with Condor XC-Mini key cutting machine.

Step 2:

Connect the fuse next to the left door, 2nd on Line 1 and 1st on Line 3

Dashboard turns on at this time

Step 3:

Connect VVDI2 with vehicle

Select dash type: 2012 VDO NEC+ 24C64

Enter 03 BAS

Take a photo of /write down the long code

Step 4:

Remove instrument, find out 24C64 CPU chip, read EEPROM data with ecu programmer, i.e VVDI Prog, Yanhua CKM100 etc

Save eeprom dump.

Step 5:

Open VVDI2 VAG loader

Select Key Learn->4th generation immobilizer->Dash-NEC+24C64

Select All Keys Lost

Select Generate service pattern 24C64 EEPROM

Save eeprom (do not replace the original eeprom file)

Re-write eeprom generated in service pattern back to CPU chip and reinstall to vehicle

Step 6:

Remove the coil of the steering column, follow step 2 to turn on the dash.

Connect VVDI2, select dash type

Complete following steps to program key:

1.Dashboard turns black, complete all these steps to reset instrument

2.Read eeprom data and save

3.Read immo data and save

4.Generate dealer key

5.Reset instrument

6.Add a key

7. Perform other functions

Upload eeprom data and write eeprom

Read Immo data and save

Select Generate dealer key

Reset instrument

Add a key

Backup eeprom and immo data before key learning

Learn key. Upload immobilizer data to add a key

Remove the fuse.

Program Passat 2012 all keys lost success.

Xhrose VVDI2 Program Audi Q7 2007 Remote Key Step by Step

Here vvdishop introduces 2 ways to program remote smart key on a Audi Q7 year 2007 with Xhorse VVDI2 key programmer by OBD.

Connect Xhorse VVDI2 VAG key programmer with vehicle through OBD connector

Audi Q7 OBD diagnostic connector location

The remotes to be programmed use ID8E transponder

First, we show how one of the two remotes is deprogrammed

Original key can turn on the switch, remote key to be programmed cannot.

Method 1:

Open VVDI2 software

Select Audi->Key Learn-> 4th Immobilizer system-Audi-> A6L/Q7/Allroad

Turn ignition ON

We extract the necessary information (Pin Code and Security Code) of the vehicle to access and be able to perform the final process of programming (Key Learn)

Select Autodetect from engine (ECU)

Reading data, please wait

Reading data success

We observe on the above screen the information of security codes (Pin Code and Security Cop) extracted correctly

Let’s go to the final programming process (Key Learning)

Enter number of keys to learn: 2

and press Key Learning button

Insert the dealer key into car and switch on for at least 2 seconds. The time for change key should within 5 seconds. Press OKAY button after all key is learned.

All keys successfully learned.

Method 2:

Next, we will see another method of programming.
In this case, more direct and automatic.
And with information on the status of immobilizer and possible vehicle lock by incorrect Pin Code or transponder to
real-time on-screen.

Select Key Learn->Key Learn

Auto detect vehicle: A6L/Q7/Allroad 2005+, CAN

Select Autodetect PIN/CS

Automatic detection / extraction of the security codes (Pin Code and Comp. Of Security)

Real-time status information of the Immobilizer: type of key / transponder and its status, access to units, number of keys programmed

Real-time information on possible vehicle lockout and remaining time for leaving it

PIN and CS Security codes successfully extracted

Enter key number in marked red area: 2

Press Learn button

Insert entry key and switch on ignition

We accept OK to finish the process once the steps are done correctly

VVDI2 and Tango Key Programmer review on BMW VAG

Topic: VVDI2 or Tango? Which is better for auto key programming?

Program keys: VVDI2 via OBD, Tango from dump

If you are going to make keys from dump and reading with a programmer buy Tango.
If you are looking to make keys over OBD buy VVDI2 is a good tool for BMW CAS/MB EZS. (read and write MB IR key)
Tango more features, VVDI2 good for OBD

Better buy VVDI2 with VVDI Prog

I personally prefer Tango good support and more features, xhorse it is also a very good for obd.
If you buy VVDI2 i also recommend complement with VVDI programmer.

Tango has guides with pics, free with standard tool

I don’t know VVDI2… but I have tango and it’s excellent so long as you have good programmers too like xprog etc. Most makes/models have guides with pics. Also many makers are free with standard tool and you can just add when you need

VVDI2 + Tango better than Zed full

If you mean original Tango and VVDI2 full…than this group will be better than zed full, thats my opinion…but there is a lot of car that you will need to remove BCM’s, immo’s…etc because vvdi2 and tango are more eeprom based tools, except vvdi2 making bmw and vag over obd2, skp900 and obdstar are obd2 tools but cant help you with fiat, opel, renault and with some few brands

VVDI2 + VVDI Prog good for VAG + BMW

If you looking only for VAG + BMW , then VVDI2 and VVDI prog is way to go. No need any other tool. In VVDI2 you have also programmer similar to Tango that you can make keys buy dump, but 90% of VAG and BMW can be done by OBD in VVDI2.

VVDI 2 includes all the VVDI functions, the function of Tango…. has improved remote control generation and chip identification, and also enhanced the coil’s stability
