How to Solve Xhorse Condor Motor Movement Not Working Properly?

Here comes the solution to Xhorse Condor XC-Mini Plus or Condor II movement abnormal and error code 55 problem.

Phenomenon: There is an abnormal noise when the X/Y/Z axis self checks and moves after Condor machine is turned on, Or there is abnormal noise when one of the X/Y/Z axis moves during the process of decoding or cutting keys;

Solution: Go to device self test – motor measurement- perform X/Y/Z motor testing separately (Refer to the following picture for the entry method)

Normal situation: ‘OK’ will be displayed at the bottom of the test interface, as shown in the picture;

Fault situation: A certain axis at the bottom of the interface will display ‘Bad’, indicating that there is a fault with this axis and the corresponding sensor needs to be replaced,

As indicated by the arrow on the right, it represents that there is a fault in the current Y-axis and the Y-axis sensor needs to be replaced;

Check

picture 1 shows the positions of Z-axis and Y-axis sensors;

picture 2 shows the appearance of the old sensor;

picture 3 shows the appearance of the new sensor.

If it is a fault with the X-axis sensor, please contact technical support as the steps for replacing the X-axis sensor are quite complicated.

How to Turn off Xhorse Dolphin II Lock Screen Password?

What to do if forget the lock screen password for Xhorse Condor Mini Plus/Condor II or Dolphin II key cutting machine?

There are several solutions:

1. The default passwords for the xhorse Condor key cutting machine include 000000, 111111, and 123456. Try them one by one.

2. If not working, connect xhorse condor/dolphin with laptop. Run Xhorse Upgrade Kit – recognize the device – “Repair” in the upper-right corner – repair internal errors 1-2 – clear all (step3 for about 3 times) – click “Upgrade” after 3 times of success. Then start key cutting machine.

3. If it is Dolphin XP005L, in Xhorse App, go to Device Info->Start password-> Close password.

If you forget password, uninstall APP then install again.

You can enter password to turn off the key cutting machine password.

How to Cut Plastic Key with Xhorse Condor Mini Plus

How to cut plastic car keys using Xhorse Condor XC-Mini Plus? The VW Passat/CC and old BMW all have plastic keys for emergency blade, so this is a very useful tip for locksmiths. You can follow the tip if you have any other Xhorse Key Cutting Machine.

*You can’t nornally just put the plastic key on clamp for direct decoding or cutting.

You should LISHI the door or figure out the bitting codes at first.

Then once you do that, put a metal key on the clamp and perform “Cut Key”. When the probe dedects it, pause Xhorse Condor machine right before it starts cutting.

Change the metal key into plastic key and put it on the clamp.

Hit “Cut” to continue key cutting. You can just repeat the same operation for the other side cutting.

Tips to Test Xhorse Condor II Battery Voltage 24V Output

If you cannot turn on Xhorse Condor XC-Mini, Condor XC Mini Plus or Condor II key cutting machine, you may need to test the 24v voltage output of the battery to check if needs a battery replacement.

Follow this way to test Xhorse Condor battery:

1.Remove these screws to take out the battery.

2.Connect 220V power supply on the top

Only when 220V power supply is plugged in at the top, you can measure 24V voltage output at the bottom. If you power the 220V but cannot measure 24V voltage, there is a problem with the battery or power supply. If there is no 24V voltage output, the battery does not charge and needs to be replaced.

How to Replace CR1220 Battery of Xhorse Condor Motherboard

Problem:

My Xhorse Condor xc-mini plus machine doesn’t record but time and date, would it have a battery inside or something? I’ve already dismantled where it gave here and I haven’t found it?

Solution:

Replace the button battery (CR1220) on the motherboard.

Procedure:

Step 1. Remove screws on the screen and the back cover, and take them away.

Step 2. The motherboard on the left is tightened by 3 hexagon screws, which requires an extended handle or a long-handled hexagon wrench to take it out.

Step 3. When you take out the motherboard, you’ll see the button battery (CR1220).

Step 4. Replace the battery and restore everything.

Step 5. Turn on the machine, adjust the time setting, and everything should be fine.

BTW, such procedures (that require taking the machine apart) Under Our Guidance won’t affect its warranty.

Xhorse Condor XC-Mini Plus Not Turning On Solution

Problem:

I was using xhorse condor xc-mini plus and heard a click, the machine switched off, I’ve replaced the fuse in the socket and it still won’t switch on. Can I get help in resolving the problem?

VVDISHOP Solution:

1.Make sure Xhorse Condor Machine firmware is the latest.

2.If problem happens when machine is connected in vehicle, connect machine to urban power and try again

3.Test power board output (test if power output here is 24V)

Xhorse Condor II Error Code 2 Not Detected Cutter

Problem:

I had a problem cutting Suzuki HU133R key blank. My Xhorse Condor II key cutting machine gave me error code 3. Not detected cutter. Any advice?

Solution:

First of all, do an Electrical Conductivity test.

In Condor II main menu, go to Settings->Machine Test-> Electrical Conductivity Measurement->Start Test

Tips to Cut Shoulder Stop Keys with Xhorse Dolphin XP005

Here are the tips to cut shoulder stop keys on the Xhorse Condor or Dolphin key cutting machines.

Definitely easier to use it than to eyeball it. We are going to show you how to use the shoulder stop with it.

This is our M1 jaw and we see on the jaw there is actually a groove right here milled into it.

The shoulder stop has a little lip on it and that little lip actually fits into that groove and that actually acts as your shoulder stop.

We are going to cut a Suziki motorcycle key.
Suz18 isn’t in the Dolphin xp005 software. You can cut Suz18 under YM63 and we got the key code by Lishi.

Go to All Keys Lost->Yamaha, put code A7354 and you need the internet to actually use the code search on it.

Pulls it up tells us M1 clamp shoulder align and 2 4 3 1 3 1 4 so let’s the correct bitting on there.

Our jaw clamped in there, grab the shoulder stop here.
Fit it into a little groove here, you just simply slide the key and push the shoulder stop up.

You just push the key until you know hit the shoulder stop.
Clamp it in it just takes the guesswork out of it here you don’t have to eyeball it.

basically, you’re going to do it again as you can see so you got your shoulder stop in the groove here and you just slide the key until it until it hits the shoulder stop and then just clamp it
in and then i’m going to put this back on my little magnet up here tightens my grub screw and these magnets on top of the machine work really really well.

Then now we’re all ready to cut the key here. Just go ahead and uh hit cutting key. The machine will do its thing here.
