Will Xhorse Multi Prog Unlock VAG Simos PCR2.1?

Xhorse Multi Prog new user feedback:

Successfully read VAG Simos pcr2.1 ECU on bench.

 

Last time failed with this Ecu, and I noticed a issue with multi prog power adapter.
That 4 amps charger is fully induction (a/c noise in out put) once connect my usb cable to pc, mouse pad also stock due to multi prog SMPS noise.
Just connect with my old Power supply and everything works.
That ecu already bench read by fc200 so there’s no need unlock.

Checksum by multiprog.

I didn’t unlock anything …I just read flash in bench the write mod file. It reads full flash data.

pcr2.1 when start read go to 3-4amps in sec.

How-to: read and write BMW X3 MSV90 DME using Xhorse Multi Prog programmer on bench.

Steps:

Reading information from the old computer:

Select ALL from the menu.

Choose IMMOBILIZER.

Starting the car:

Connect the new computer to the car. Start the car.

 

Notes:

Make sure to use the Xhorse MULTI BROG software version 1.44 or later. Ensure proper cable connections. Verify file integrity before writing. With these simple steps, you can successfully transfer information from an old BMW computer to a new one.

Xhorse Multi Prog or VVDI Prog to Write Write Volvo CEM TB28F400

In my previous test, Xhorse VVDI PROG does not work with Volvo CEM TB28F400 microcircuits . It can erase them but cannot write. Now I’ve already have the next generation Xhorse Multi-Prog Programmer respectively. And the XDMPO4GL VH24 SOP44 Adapter was purchased specifically for these microcircuits.

 

With the TB28F400 B5B microcircuit was installed, now let’s see a clear difference between the Multi-Prog Programmer& VVDI PROG.

Open MultiProgsoftware,

Click “Read”.

Read success.

In the Device settings, I can select “Verify after reading”. It’s very useful option I strongly recommend it.

 

Open the prepared file.

Click “Write”.

Let’s see if it will be successful, just waiting for the result.

Finally, let’s compare the original file with the new saved file.

The files are identical.

 

Actually, the difference between Multi-Prog & VVDI PROG is already clearly: it works with these microcircuits, not only start recording. Therefore, you need to purchase the appropriate adapter SOP44. Everything will be fine.
