Read 2024 Hyundai Airbag R7F701042 with Xhorse VVDI Prog?

Today we received an 2024 Hyundai airbag module. We’re gonna reset it with Xhorse VVDI PROG on bench. Before that, we should read and save its DFLASH & CFLASH of the module.

First, we’ll do its connection.

Connect VVDI PROG& airbag module according to wiring diagram.

Second, Open VVDI PROG software.

Xhorse Condor II or Dolphin II for Household Key Duplication?

Entry question:

Looking to buy my first horse key cutting machine mainly for auto and household key duplication. Should I go for the Dolphin XP005L or the Condor II? Any recommendations?

They have the same car key database.

As for household key cutting, xhorse dolphin I and dolphin II will not cut house key by bitting. You need to write the bitting yourself.

Dolphin will duplicate only.

Dolphin will cut household keys via Universal Key Duplication only if you have a working key.

Condor Xc mini plus 2 will cut them by code. It is the only xhorse machine has the option to cut house keys by code.

The Condor II machine allows you to use custom bitting directly on the machine. You also need the M4 clamp. Once you learn to create and use custom bitting, the machine will cut extremely accurately, usually within a thousandth of an inch.

What household keys does it in the database?

It has a lot of key types in the 100s for house keys.
Kwikset KW1, KW10, Schlage SC1, SC4, & Y1 etc.

You can check household key types in the menu.

Generally, Dolphin is a better option for van. If you want to go with Condor you can buy a battery/converter kit that comes with 12v van and wall outlet.

I like my condor mini plus ii with the battery conversion. I charge it from the 12v outlet and it lasts for 20-30 keys depending. I also have the battery powered condor duplicator that also charges from the 12v car port. The Condor ii works great, the cover protects from flying debris, and it is controllable using the screen or key tool max or cellphone app.

Xhorse VVDI BE Key Failed to Access Key Error Solution

Problem:

Failed to switch the frequency of the Xhorse VVDI BE key yellow board. Software reported an error “Failed to Access Key, Error 1”

Solution:

You need to install a battery into the VVDI BE key in order to change frequency with vvdi mb software.

2. Write key with Tango

In Tango software, select Volvo->Trucks-> FH12 93C66

Upload eeprom read by vvdiprog

Select an key position and write key.

Install eeprom chip back to immo box.

Honda HON66 Key Cutting by Xhorse Condor XC-002 Pro

This is a tutorial on how to cut a HON66 key with Xhorse Condor XC-002 PRO. Always remember the key cutting machine was well-calibrated(Height Level Adjustment) before working.

Height Level Adjustment

Method 1.

Insert the original key with the help of a guiding block. Use a shim to make sure the key is well aligned.
Insert the key blank to the right for ready.
Press down the main handle and check the indicator light. Follow the direction of the light and rotate the micro-adjust knob until the middle light turns green.

Method 2.

If you don’t have a shim momentarily, follow the method as below.

We can also use probes of the same specification on both sides to ensure the accuracy.
Press down the main handle and rotate the handle to lock it. Utilize the probe and cutter of Condor XC-002 PRO machine for key alignment.
Replace the cutter back and adjust the micro-adjust knob until the middle light turns green.

Height level adjustment was finished.

Preparation

Before cutting, take a look at the clamp. There are 3 marked positions at the bottom of the clamp: A, B and C.

Slide in the clamp and make one triangle directs to the line depending on your need.
Turn on the power switch of the cutter, adjust the speed control knob to a suitable speed.

Now let’s start duplicating the key.

Press down the main handle and start cutting the first side.
After finishing, turn off the power switch. Clean up the clamp and flip the key.
Similarly align the key and finish calibration of the other side.
Turn on switch to cut the other side of key.

*Please remember to turn off the power when completed.

Now the new HON66 key cutting has been finished.

How to Generate Toyota Prius 2018 Smart Key via Xhorse XM38

Need to add a smart key for a TOYOTA Prius Plus 2018 rest left hand drive.

To use the Xhorse XM38 Toyota smart key we need to know what chip and transmitter frequencies the original key had.

This is TOYOTA, everything should be much simpler.
After reading the key, everything began to become clearer, and it no longer seemed so scary.

It is chip 8A, page 88.

Choose template 0020 dual frequency. It’s just that these templates have different Page settings, somewhere 88, somewhere A8 or A9.
I write the option into the key. Then program the XM38 smart key to car.

How to Add Land Cruiser Prado 150 2013 by VVDI Key Tool Max Pro

It is a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 150 2013 with keyless entry system. Here we will show how to add a spare key to this module using xhorse vvdi key tool max pro and XM38 smart key.

First, read the information of the chip and radio channel from the original remote control.

At the top are the Xhorse keys, and below are the original ones. Xhorse keys are very nicer than their relatives.

We read the data on the chip and radio channel from the original keys, click generate remote control.

Preparing/generating a new key/remote.

Programming the immobilizer, selecting the brand, model and immo system.

Turn on ignition switch and confirm.

Select Add Key.

We see the number of keys registered in the system is 2 and the maximum number is 5.

Put the original key close to the engine Start button within 30s, you should hear a beep.

Here we see that the number of registered keys has become 3, and the number of which can be additionally registered has decreased by one.

It says that if the remote control does not work, you need to perform a synchronization procedure.

The key was added without any problems.

VVDI Mini Key Tool Generate Renault Scenic ID46 Smart Key using Xhorse Key

It’s a Renault Scenic with ID46 chip key. We’ll make a key using xhorse universal smart key.

We will use vvdi mini key tool.

First of all, we need to decide what key we need, open the program, select the make of the car and the type of the original key, it is highlighted in a green frame, it comes with KeylesGo with an ID46 chip

Let’s take it apart, put the board into the mini key tool programmer, again select our car, the remote control with the ID46 chip and press for generation.

We place the board from the key in the card slot with the chip at the bottom, this is the only way the receiver will detect the card.

Select your car and read PIN

then click Connect, click Test Presence, it has determined that there is one native card and there is an empty card in the slot

then click Start Learning, the card is detected in the reader

check the box, click Learn Key Card and add our native card again. at the bottom the light turns red Card Learnt OK means the card is programmed.

Next, click Validate, then Cancel and click Disconnect. Exit the application, close everything, disconnect.

We press the buttons of the new remote control, everything works, we collect the key, we get out of the car, we close the doors, we press the close button and… here it’s a bummer, the close button does not work and only the turn signals blink, we press the other buttons, the panic button works, the headlights turn on and off, opening the trunk opens the car, and the door open button, on the contrary, closes the doors. In short, the buttons do not work as they should. Let’s connect again to the xhorse mini key tool, insert the key and read the information on the buttons.

We see this picture, the top 4 indicators are buttons and the code in numbers corresponds to the command.

panic button – 01 corresponds to reality, lock button – 08 and it unlocks it, so we write code 08 on the unlock button, then the trunk has code 04 and it unlocks the doors, again we enter code 04 for the unlock button, and accordingly the code remains 02 is the opening of the trunk, enter it for the trunk button and press the INSTALL button at the bottom of the display. all settings are saved, codes are registered.

Then we go to the car and check how everything works.
